The design of the interior of A Southern Season was by Fred Stewart while the new exterior of the former Belk building was a collaboration of Stewart's office and JS Architecture. The scope of the project included the complete demolition of all existing exterior masonry walls (exclusive of the structure) and construction of a new facade to complement the new mall entrance.
